Hamish Armytage

With over 20 years’ experience in Australian and International Tourism including 5 Star Sydney hotels and tailoring luxury travel itineraries for private tour groups, Hamish has a passion for enhancing the tourist experience. In 2012, he made the decision to move to the south coast and became owner and director of South Coast Holidays. In the following 4 years they were awarded Best Holiday Rental Agency on 3 occasions before then being inducted into the South Coast Tourism Hall of Fame in 2016.

"It is my belief that common courtesy and generousity of time are the most useful attributes to possess in customer service . Just 5 minutes of concentrated personal time can make a good experience great. Too many people in tourism or any service industry for that matter, don't prioritise their customers experience. It doesn't take much, just respect, manners and a desire to do the best you can for them. You can't please everyone, but making an effort to do what you can, will make all the difference."

Hamish has a Bachelor of Management in Tourism from UTS, including majoring in Tourism Management while at San Diego State University and studying Recreation Management from University of Vermont. He holds a current Real Estate License and lives in Kiama, NSW. When not working, he enjoys his time hiking, camping, mountain biking and spending as much time with his young daughter as possible.
